The annual Jim Barry Armagh Hut lunch will once again return to the iconic Armagh vineyard on Saturday 21st May 2022. We’ve teamed up with world renowned chef, Jake Kellie, to provide an exclusive feast to remember. The lunch will be guided by the freshest fare, cooked in Jake's signature style, supremely matched with premium wines and special vintages.
Set in our new farm shed overlooking the landscapes and vines of the iconic Armagh vineyard where most of the acclaimed fruit is grown, guests will be treated to Chef Kellie’s delights including his legendary grilled lobster with salmon roe.
Jake is no stranger to the limelight, appearing on Master Chef Australia and racking up many accolades in his career: 2015 Electrolux Appetite for Excellence Australian Young Chef of the Year and Runner ups in 2016 Good Food Guide Young Chef of the Year.
Jake is also the recipient of the San Pellegrino World Young Chef of the Year Award for South East Asia, going on to place 2nd in the world in Milan (2018) with his signature Aged Pigeon Dish. Today, he is the co-owner and Head Chef of arkhé (are-kay) in Adelaide, the state’s first open-flame restaurant.
We invite guests to relax among the family vineyards of the Barry family, enjoying stories from Peter of his youth, the wine and the vines.
